things are better and worse
So I have to say I am very happy over the past couple of days. I finally got word that everyone in Elibeth's family is doing great after the Super Typhoon that ran its way through the Philippines. Holiday Season
Since I left home after high school the Holiday Seasons have been very lackluster. At least it seems that way over the course of the past ten years. Since those days my family has more or left moved on with their lives and I am more or less out of sight and out of mind considering how far away I live. no posts since June?!?
It is almost like I disappeared.... well I sort of did I guess. Work as usual has been consuming my time, even worse now then it was before. My roommate Nate fell ill right at the beginning of September and I helped him pick up the slack at his gaming store. So I was working two jobs for around a month or so. Work to live not live to work
Yeah so it seems I am stuck in a rut for the time being. Sure I am making good money but at the cost of my sanity the price is a wee bit too high I'd say. I get the weekend of the 22nd off which is great because I have to attend Nate and Amanda's wedding as one of the groomsmen. Elibeth
She is everything that gives meaning to my life and that is why I wait. A lot of people often ask me why I would let her go on a mission for our church. Let her? I encourage her! work work work
So yeah here I am stuck at work and I find out that I have mandatory overtime Friday night >< Oh yeah that's wonderful to find out Thursday night this is one of the wonderful reasons I am looking for a new job. The vacation is over for now
Well after going to Animazement a few weeks ago it is back to the grind in a serious way. My employer has gotten the contract for the audio release of the latest Harry Potter novel on CD. This means hightened security and lots of overtime for me. So the vacation is over for now and we will probably start ramping up for the holiday season ( Read more... )
