My father had cancer, my grandmother had cancer, my son had cancer...and who knows about previous generations? Imagine how many of our great-grandparents and other ancestors died of ( Read more... )

Yeah I was really sad to hear about FF, she was an icon when I was growing up, and then as I was doing groceries at Costco after work today I heard about Michael Jackson.

69 isn't that old... my dad will be 69 this year and has a 16 year old ;-)

Mandy and I were both irritated that the airwaves were all abuzz about "the gloved one" as one of my friends dubbed him and very little about FF. Three big names in one week. Very sad.

I remember loving Charlie's Angels as a kid. I thought Lee Majors and Farrah Fawcett were a dream couple. I was sad for her death, too. I even cried a little for the other guy, too. They were both amazing entertainers.

Seriously...what color(s) are your favorite? I have some gorgeous and soft blue alpaca yarn...but I'm not sure if you're that much of a blue person. What are your ideal colors? Personally, I'm more of an earthtones/greens person...

I love blue and / or green (the dark foresty kind). Anything you make I will LOVE. Seriously...:)

I hated that her death was all but ignored, after three years of fighting. But then I have never been a fan of the other. Hi, I found your journal by searching interests for the word sarcoma, and was wondering if you would add me? I am a survivor of sarcoma.

Nice to meet you. :) I'm the parent of a synovial sarcoma survivor. My son was diagnosed in Feb. 2007 at 9 years of age. He's doing well right now and is cancer free. What kind of sarcoma did you have?
