As was explained to me later, the guys who messed with my TV had also just taken someone else's PS2 to use (and that guy was also apparently quite pissed at having his stuff taken without permission ( ... )

And you know, from the sounds of things I don't feel so bad I couldn't make it. :(

It was Chars had played it but unplugged everything before we went to get grubs. When we came back, there were two jerks who had untated the set and hooked up the PS2 they took from that other guy's room. Chars spat obscenities at them for tipping the set, then the one got mad and turned off the system, unplugged the set, AND IMMEDIATELY TATED IT AGAIN.

Luckily no permanent damage, but Terry said he'd seen the rainbowing when the guys were playing.

Charles and I had been discussing doing something smaller at my (and Lone's) place sometime, more invite-only, if that would interest you. I promise we'd have soap, and there is a Red Roof Inn nearby for cheap lodging (though we could put some people up in the house as well, as long as they are okay with cats). =)
