Now, the standard line of etiquette is that, since Kain is running the damn thing, you ask him about various things if you are unaware. I made it a point to locate Kain and chat with him before I did anything. This, of course, is the problem with people showing up who aren't friends of Kain.
Now, granted, the black guy (I don't think I ever got what his name/handle was) did later come and appologize for flipping the TV and I was very calm and understanding at that point. Thankfully, the TV did not seem to sustain any permanent damage.
The biggest problem illustrated by the entire event though is the utter lack of respect for other people's property.
The other thing is, last year, I had the TV tate'd for most of the event, and nobody messed with the damn thing. Then again, Rusty may have had my back on that one since his computer was set up right next to my TV and he spent most of his time at his comp (obviously, he knew about tate'ing).
