Oh Mylanta, The Winter Soldier is so good. Go see eet. Really, see all the movies :) But TWS I think is now my favorite, along with The Avengers. They both have a much different tone, however. Also, Anthony Mackie is gold.

Richard Armitage is on my Voice of Sex list.

I'm totally self-diagnosed ADHD, but that doesn't surprise me. If I can remember to pay attention (heh), I'll try to take not of how things come in for me. But off the top of my head, if something actually comes in, it comes in. Maybe that's why I can go from one subject to the next to the next, because I need a break from the intensity of the thing that came before, so I get a fresh new intense thing. Hmm...

So, I did watch Avengers and felt very meh about it. Could I have watched something else? Is there something before The Avengers? But Sebastian Stan. Rawr. I want to pull my hair out.

RICHARD ARMITAGE. Dude. Why did no one tell me he was on their Voice of Sex list? GAH. That's a perfect way of describing it.

My friends used to tease me about being full of non-sequiturs. :D I think I just make connections differently because they always made complete sense to me! :D

Oy, there are like six movies before The Avengers. I'm the type that likes to go into something with all of the backstory if I can, so I'd recommend watching all of them in order, but it sounds like you're not on with that :) I think if you want to try The Avengers again to give it another chance I'd watch the following: Iron Man, Thor, and then Captain America: The First Avenger. Then The Avengers, and then Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If you don't want to bother with that, then I'd say just watch the first CA movie and you're good to go for TWS.

My Voice of Sex list:

Benedict Cumberbatch
Alan Rickman
Ian McShane
Jason Isaacs
Tom Hiddleston
Timothy Dalton
Mark Strong
Richard Armitage

My brain is a non sequitor.

*runs away* See, I just feel so overwhelmed. I don't think I can begin to get into it. Someone suggested I could watch and not get into the fandom. Maybe that's possible. I did watch The Avengers and wasn't particularly pulled in, so perhaps I can sit it out entirely.

Oh god. Your list is awesome. Totally agree with those I know. I've never heard of Ian McShane or Mark Strong and Timothy Dalton only rings a faint bell.

I heard a couple of times now that CA 2 was good but I'm still not sure if I'll watch it because IMO CA 1 was one of the most awful and boring movies I've ever seen. I really had to force myself to watch it to the end. But f-listers with the same opinion said that they enjoyed the second movie. So maybe I will, too? Especially because it's also important for the series SHIELD. I admit I wasn't a big fan of the Avengers movie(s) either. And that says much because usually I adore my superhero/comic movies.

Seriously... RA is one of the people who could read the phone book and I would happily listen to it:) I know there can be a difference between a singing voice and your normal voice but as soon as I heard him sing in the first Hobbit movie I was gone. I don't ship him with Lee either but I do ship the hell out of Bilbo/Thorin.

Ok, this firms up my belief that I needn't watch any of them. I did watch Avengers, but wasn't super excited about it.

Oh hello phone book. Yeah, if RA read the phone book, I'd be all over that. I haven't watched any of The Hobbit movies.
