Prompt from the writing community this week is:

I thought for this week we could play with microfics. Write a six word fic. Or a three sentence fic (which if you are like Faulkner could be a lot of words), or a drabble:D

If you want more to think about, consider writing a character you don't normally write. Or a minor character who is overlooked. I ( Read more... )

Oooh, are these for one or three different pieces. I'm thinking three pieces. But maybe related, eh?:D Fun!

Merlin bobbled the golden cup of life. Arthur was incapcitated with a wound. They placed all their trust in Leon Gwaine.

(Sorry. Leon wasn't there!) I might do something else with this later too. It's a good prompt:D

♥♥♥

My initial thought process was of three prompts for three different ficlets, but it's kinda awesome (and probably much more difficult) to see them all incorporated into one. I hadn't even thought of that! :D

Ha! With the powers of random association, my brain can connect anything, even if I have to fudge things a little:)

Hunith: family
Balinor: responsibility
Kanan: snow
Alice: beauty
Tristan: children
Grettir: chance

You don't need to answer all of them. Just a couple of suggestions. Maybe one or the other will tickle your fancy.

Of course you can give me some prompts. I can't promise anything though.

P.S.: fabric stores are evil! They always swallow my money wholeheartedly;)

Heee. Ok. Shew. I'm glad there's no pressure there. Feel free to take some of these yourself too!

No no! Fabric stores are LOVELY. Especially when one needs more fabric.:D I have to buy some fabric for the "fields" for the dragon quilt.

*cough* I may have gotten a little OCD. I've worked with all your prompts:D

Thanks! I will need a little time before I can get to these. Hopefully in the next hour or so:D

Ok, that was faster than I thought. I was blocked from using the kitchen and had a few minutes to write:) Posted in the main body of the entry.

Gwaine is so lovely to write. We have so little on him, but I really feel like he's a strong character. Dang, I really need a Gwaine icon, especially if I'm going to keep writing about him:)

Thanks!

Aw, the two of you are so cute.

:) I was hoping that short might be a good trick this week. You should try six word sentences. FUN!

Nice. You packed a lot in here.

One question: did you mean to say he "tastes the bitter cup of loss" or he "tastes from the bitter cup of loss"? That's such a great image. Very rich drabble.

Ok. You did that thing where the whole stands for the part, or something like that. It is a beautiful image.
