Where have I been for the last year? Life caught up with me.

Knitting, however, is still going on. I've started a Doctor Who scarf for my brother who is 55 in June. He's a high school teacher. This little widget shows my progress which I will be updating from time to time.

Got my new Samsung Galaxy SII yesterday. Still in the process of learning how to use it and transferring all the stuff off the iPhone 3GS. Hopefully I'll have got everything down pat by the time I get my new tablet - also a Samsung Galaxy, the Tab 7.7

Back in February we rescued two female Rex cats, a 5yo Cornish named Tango and a 5.5yo Devon named Jini. They were raised together and had been part of a house of 11 cats. Divorce and loss of house ensued and they were thrown on the mercy of the public. After 3 months a (relatively) local organisation called Rex Rescue advertised them on their fb ( Read more... )

Today we brought home another rescued Rex to join our two. This one is a 10yo female Cornish Rex that currently goes by the name Sheba. A state of armed detente exists in the household while the three of them get to know each other. I'll, uh, keep you posted.......
