Another productive weekend.

Friday I got stuff done out in the garage and in the house cleaning. I also assembled the steps for the hot tub and set them in place.

Saturday was a good day at the farmers market and good gathering in the evening.

Reminder and better finalized plans (for now). 3:30pm Saturday September 15th, at the manleyhouse. Move the tub, where is to be determined, just not where it is. Hopefully shouldn't take too long, but the more the merrier.

There will be a tub placement help request at some point, after I know how long I have to let the concrete cure before doing so. Whee!

Took today off of work do do the power upgrade at the manleyhouse. The weather held off even though there was a few times when the clouds cleared that it got rather warm. MG&E showed up before 8am and disconnected the power, then my dad, multibear and I went about fitting the new conduit and wire ( Read more... )

Today was a rather long and busy day. Got up this morning to finish the PVC assembly and wire pulling for the garage line and wait for MG&E. Just before they were supposed to show up at 9:30am they called and ended up canceling when I called back at noon for a status update. Instead we got the garage finished and the trench inspected. Trench update over in manleyhouse, ok, back to pulling ground wire for me.

If people are interested in helping to dig a trench this weekend I plan to start Saturday afternoon after the market (about 3pm) digging it by hand, depending on how that goes (rocks and roots) I could be picking up a trencher on Sunday morning to finish the job. Yesterday was a long, but good day. Up and out to the Farmers Market, then over to the Great Taste of the Midwest for some beer, then home for some Chinese food with drakenfly and obafugakum.
