Pennsic went great. Weather was PERFECTION. That never happens, so I'm glad, as it made life a lot easier for us.

Not much to say. Rose went to her first camping event at Palio di Stonemarche last weekend. Went ok. I need to remember that I need to bring all the blankets to every event, even in June. Wicked cold night. Rose was fine with it though. Feetie pyjamas ftw!

Our contrade won for the first time, which was cool. Viva Ferrari!

Rose Dorothy, born 10:46 last night. 6 lbs. 11 oz, 20 inches. We're both fine. More later.

Well, that's that. Induction is scheduled for tomorrow morning. They said I could wait until next week, but they weren't real hopeful that I was going to go on my own, so eh. I decided I was sick of waiting for nothing to happen.

So! In the morning, I will be given a small amount of pitocin, which they will use until I actually start contractions, ( Read more... )

So for the record-no baby yet. However, the midwife was a little concerned yesterday because my BP is starting to climb a bit. I normally am about 90/60, and as of yesterday, I was 114/69. Which is still not HIGH, but it's high for me.

Everything appears to be fine other than that, but they're a little twitchy now, and would like me to think ( Read more... )

For the record, I am now 6 days past my due date, and my contractions have basically stopped. Blergh.
