I'm currently at this weird place where I can't really articulate my thoughts on Nine/Rose because I don't know how Ten/Rose will turn out; the two are mixing together in my head, making it just simply (or commplicatedly...) Doctor/Rose.
So I shall be inarticulate, instead.
Rose was the character that made me fall in love with the show, and her burgeoning relationship with Nine just made me even more interested in it. Nine with his emo!boyness, reaching for Rose and needing her in a way that was almost sad, and Rose, bored with her life and needing something more, taking his hand and reaching for the stars. And I thought that was beautiful and wonderful and utterly fantastic. I still do, actually, especially now, knowing how it "ends."
And I can get, intellectually, how there are people who simply don't see it, but, emotionally, it's like, WTF? Because it's so obvious to me, such an intrinsic part of their very characters that I think that a Nine and Rose who don't feel that way about each other is a Nine and Rose who are OOC.

Two! I first fell in love with him when I watched The Three Doctors. I don't know if you've gotten a chance to watch it yet...? But just the way he and Three sniped and bitched at each other made me laugh and laugh and love. (One of the disappointing things, to me, about The Five Doctors was how little bitching there was between the two...) Old Skool DW fan I know IRL caught that I once called Two a queen, and he laughed at that and said it was true, because he so is. And that's part of my love for him, that's he's so ZOMG! flail-y and humorous without being a caricature, and I think it's totally true, what either C Baker or Davison said (I forget which), that in the hands of a lesser actor, Doctor Who would have ended right there.
Sometimes, it amazes me that I love the nosexual OT3 even more than I do Two by himself. But I think, in the little I've seen, that groups of three is probably the best when it comes to the Doctor and his companions. Four can be a bit unwieldy (like, in the early First Doctor episodes, where the Doctor is

Your description of Two is so good. He is indeed a gigantic queen and I loves him so for it. I desperately need to watch more of his episodes, only I also need to watch more Ian and Barbara episodes and I need to see the special episodes and Three and gah! There is so much canon to catch up on.
Your comments on the OT3 have me in glee and I shall answer your question shortly only I have to say a big word to you on the Nine/Rose/Jack comparisons, because while I love Jack, he's just...it's so different. And the nonsexual bit, yes. Perhaps I should head over to my own journal. :D
Ten is currently on probationary status in my head because I'm waiting to see a bit more of him before I let him run free. And I know he's already been seen in Pudsey Cutaway and TCI, but those are regen stories, and, thus, shaking out the bugs. I want the series to start NOW! =D
I do like Ten a lot so far (BIG RED BUTTON! LION KING! ARTHUR DENT!), but I'm being cautious because I'm not quite sure how much of it is Ten!love as opposed to David Tennant!love. The thing is that David's the only Doctor whose work I've watched (and known who it was I was watching on screen) before he graced our screens as The Doctor. And so, watching him as Ten, I have to disconnect my mind from "OMIGOD DAVID TENNANT ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS!!!!" and view him just as THE DOCTOR, you know? Because I want to view him in terms of just the Doctor, as Ten, and not through the lens of, say, my utter love for Casanova. I don't want to watch Doctor Who and immediately think "DAVID TENNANT!" when I see him. I want to watch it and think "There's the Doctor!" like

I saw him as the Doctor first, and now I'm trying to get my hands on everything he's ever done. The only other Doctor I've ever seen was Nine, so I don't really know how much of Ten's personality is the Doctor, and how much of is just Ten. All I know is that I love him.
Ian/Cardigan is the OTP of OTPs. Sadly, however, Ian does not recognize this fact, being infatuated with the lady with funny hair Barbara. This makes Cardigan jealous, and so it and Ian go on a break, during which Ian goes about gallivanting through time and space with that home-wrecking floozy history teacher. Sometimes, though, they get back together for one night stands, and though it makes Cardigan feel sleezy for always giving in to Ian, it cannot help itself because it loves Ian so.
Oh Ian, why won't you realize that Barbara is shagging the Doctor on the side not good enough for you and go back to the Cardigan, your one true love?
Romana survived! And even though she has History with the Doctor, she had History with Leela (I blame the Gallifrey audios!) as well. So the Doctor and Rose come across her in their travels and the Doctor's all, "Yay, u survived omg! We can have sex!" and Romana's all "no wai!" cos she doesn't like boy parts anymore. And the Doctor's all "o rly?" and Romana's all "ya rly!" and Rose goes "no wai!" cos she feels left out.
The Doctor is sad, but Romana doesn't really care, and Rose is tired of him being emo. So when the Doctor goes off to sulk, she and Romana "bond" in her room, cos Rose finds out that she likes girl parts, too.

You could also do the nonsexual OT3 (funny enough, I'm the only person with "two/jamie/zoe nonsexual ot3" in my LJ interests. Huh. ;)
