When General Antilles walked sleepily into the pilot’s lounge to see four of his best pilots in various states of undress sitting at a table and playing cards in the very early hours of the morning, Kyp decided that Jaina was probably taking the Goddess-thing way too far.

“What in the name of the Sith?” yawned Wedge. “Would someone tell me what’s going on?”

“Playing cards,” said Kyp, rolling his eyes, “by special order of the Goddess.”

It was clear that Wedge was trying to wrap his brain around what he was seeing, and Kyp really didn’t blame him.

The game started out innocently enough. Halfway through Jaina decided to change the rules: instead of just losing the hand, the person with the worst cards had to give the winner a piece of clothing. He probably should have nixed the idea right there. But he hadn’t, and now - an hour later - he was in his boxers trying to explain that to a very befuddled General.

Jaina remained placid, as though it was the most normal thing in the world.

“I see,” Wedge mumbled as he slowly backed from the room; the look on his face said that he clearly didn’t.
