Make Jacen Solo a Master?
That had to be the most stupid thing Kyp had heard for a long time. The kid wasn’t even a formal member of the Order. He spent his time wandering through the galaxy and doing whatever he did when he hid himself in the Force.
“He has the experience,” said Kyle Katarn from across the table.
Kyp snorted. “But does anyone else get the feeling he’s not telling us everything?”
Corran raised an eyebrow. “Such as?”
“Such as what he was doing for five years?” he retorted. “You do realize that Luke is the only one of us that ever has any contact with him? How many of us have actually seen him in the past year?”
The table was silent, and Kyp could feel the council’s skepticism.
He sighed. “For all we know he could be trying to resurrect the Sith. And you want to give him more authority?”
“You don’t think Luke would have noticed if his nephew were going to the Dark Side?” countered Kyle. “You said yourself that he’s in contact with him.”
Kyp was getting frustrated. Maybe he was being cautious, but there was something not right about Jacen Solo.
