Whenever someone asks me, I always tell them 100, even though it's pretty unlikely they're going to exceed that anyway. The most books I ever checked out for someone was 90 or so.

Okay, Oak Park lets you check out books for what, 2 weeks? Then another 2, if nobody else has a hold on them? Can anybody seriously read that fast, or is this for research, or something?

Wow, I'd have to wonder if they plan on stealing them, or if they just have a huge family or something. I hope they can keep track of them all, and promptly return them!

3 weeks actually. And I've seen this family before, but never checked out to them, Usually they use the self checkout, occupying it for 20 minutes or more! But I do wonder why they check out so many books. Next time that they're in, I'm a-going to ask.

Ah, but was it all for the same reader...? ;) (I've occasionally bumped up against the more common 50-book limit at the libraries I've been frequenting these last 15 years or so...)
