There were like four firetrucks and an ambulance on our street near our house...I wonder what happened? Guess someone's house must have caught fire. There's just one fire truck left now.

I was walking past a shoe store downtown after work today, and I saw a doggy inside! A boxer, I think. So of course I had to go inside and pet her. Nice doggy. :-)

So there's this fellow who works in the sorting room in the library...I think he's autistic or something. Anyway, if he thinks that someone is putting too many books in the book return at a time, he tends to throw them back out. Obviously, that's NOT what you're supposed to do. On the 4th of July, I went up to the Great Lakes naval base with my boyfriend for their 4th of July celebration. Some of our other friends were also there. I tried deep fried oreos for the first time...oh my god, so delicious. Words cannot describe it ( Read more... )

Last night I went to see Snow White & the Huntsman. It was pretty good. The visuals are just stunning. And the plot is...good enough. Kristen Stewart actually wasn't terrible. And Charlize Theron was great.

On Saturday I went to Great America with my boyfriend and some of our friends. It rained a little when I was driving up there, but it had mostly stopped by the time I arrived ( Read more... )

Tim and I saw the Hunger Games movie tonight. It was really good. A very good adaptation of the book. I have no complaints. Can't wait to see the next movie!
I need to re-read the books, now.
