I hate insurance.  I especially hate our insurance.  I hate that because we're self-employed we have crappy insurance...We pay out the ass for it and it sucks.  I'm not even sure what benefits we have - nothing is covered.  Today I picked up a Rx - they covered $1.64 of a $36.00 Rx.  That's not even enough to cover the taxes.  I'm off now to find a ( Read more... )

So ... Max is a whopping 10 lbs. 6 oz. and 22 inches long ... Off the charts in height and in the 75th percentile in weight ... and unfortunately he has a bit of a cold ... I do, too ... so at least I'm passing antibodies on to him ... we both are a little snotty and have a little cough ... so we're napping/relaxing together today while Chris is ( Read more... )

Maxwell is a month old...Where has the month gone?  I'm so excited to see him continue to grow, not only in size, but his personality, too.  I keep telling myself to stay in the moment and cherish every secondI have with him.  I love every moment we have spent together as a family and can't imagine all of the memories we have yet to make with one ( Read more... )

So...my cleaning lady just left...she was here for 4 hours...my house smells so freakin' clean...am feeling quite spoiled as she will be coming every other friday...but it is quite fabulous...I stayed out of her way, but I did see her on her hands and knees cleaning my kitchen floor...I can't remember the last time I did that...then I went to pay ( Read more... )
