30 today . . .
Thirty years ago today, I first began my existence in the world. What a lot has changed since then! Reaching this milestone, I feel like I SHOULD feel older, more accomplished or even broken-down. Pancake Recipes
I've heard a request for pancake recipes, and I have quite a few - (almost)all of my own making! Ingredients are in the order to be added. As a general rule, I put all the wet ingredients in first, then any spices, and then flour and rising ingredients go in last, and are mixed in together. Apparently I haven't been posting much on here, but then I guess grad school really has a hold of me now . . . but all is going well. Kitty finds a home!
Last night on my way home, I found the sweetest, friendliest gray and white youngish (3-6months?) kitten in the parking lot at school. It just about broke my heart to bike home, but I couldn't take him on my bike, and I didn't have my cell phone to call Scott. Missing Scott, etc
Wow, I haven't posted in ages! I've been pretty busy though. We went strawberry picking on Sunday, and tonight I finally canned the strawberry jam I made, and got some laundry washed, though I haven't hung it all out yet. Last day . . . for a while
So today is really my last day of work up here in Cranberry Lake, at least until this fall, when I come back to help with GPSing. I think I've lost some weight, and definitely earned my food today, hiking all over the place with a pretty heavy pack.
