Have returned from Albuquerque/Santa Fe. Trip was pleasant, with lots of hiking. Chaco canyon had lots of Native American ruins, as did Bandilier. Pictures hopefully forthcoming. Managed to score copies Shin Megami Tensei - Avatar Tuner 1 and 2 at a Gamestop in Albuquerque.

Finished after a couple of years of not playing. Had lent the game to a friend after becoming rather frustrated at the porting floor in the Tower of Kagutsuchi. Spent some time puzzling out the level with friend's help, and finished the game on true demon ending. The POBT starts on May 17th, or May 16th for folks on the other side of the international date line, ie, those in NA/SA. Have just read that the game will start with 2 servers, Cervantes for PvP and Carracci for PvE. I will be playing mostly on Carracci, since I'm not very fond of PvP. Also at this time, IP bans will not be instituted.

So, am going there in about 3 weeks. Mostly for Chaco Canyon, really, but cities are nice too. I hope that flist and other readers, if any, have recommendations for interesting places to go. Pointers to old bookstores are also appreciated.
