Look! Social! (open, needless to say)

After being exhorted by Tom and the embarrassment of having no one able to identify his corpse, Richard decided to give his friend's advice an honest try.

So here he was, on the front porch of the Mansion. He'd managed to find a comic book laying about, and was rather fascinated, but really, he's there for bothering.

And Tom was bored so he's just going to bump into Richard right about now. "Hello!"

He looked up. "Hello, Tom. Look at this - it is some sort of curious pamphlet I found." He offered Tom the comic book, an X-Men edition circa 1970.

"...My... It certainly is... queer." He flipped through it. "The words go with the pictures?"

Typist: Ah! My favorites. (Do not ask why I read three years worth of seventies X-Men comics.)

"I think so. I cannot follow it very well, but it seems to be a narrative of some sort."

T: I don't need to ask. XD

"Do I call upon you at a better time than previously, Mr Carstone?"

He smiles and stands. "Much better, Mrs Strange. Forgive me for being so needlessly brusque with you formerly. How have you kept yourself?"

"I beg you, think nothing of it. I have kept myself wonderfully well, sir, I thank you." And indeed, a small, unnamable change in her might be noticed-- something brighter, or lighter, almost. "And you, sir?"

"Well, given the state in which you last saw me, I can safely say I have much improved. But you look marvelously well, madam, if you will permit me to observe it."

And here's Margaret, whose typist has been horribly neglecting her and also fails at starting diologue.

Richard usually does as well, but he is determined to make an effort today. "Good day, madam. Lovely weather, is it not?"

"I'm sure it is. What on earth is that?" referring to the comic book.

"I haven't the fainest idea. I found it abandoned and have since been trying to decipher it. It is about the 'ex-men,' though some are clearly women. It is very strange."

Tired after working for the Raventons all day, Armand has changed into clean clothes and collected his baby son for a few hours. He steps out onto porch and sees Richard. "Oh, pardon me. I didn't mean to disturb you."

Richard looks up with a smile. "If I did not wish to be disturbed, I would have chosen a more secluded spot. Good day, sir."

Armand won't bow holding a baby, so he shifts the baby to his hip to free up a hand which he holds out to shake. "Not everyone takes that attitude." He smiles.

"I suppose not." Richard stands to return the handshake. "I do recall we've met when I first arrived, but I am afraid I do not recall your name, sir."

Richard smiles, as much to show he bears no ill will as anything. "I am glad the message gave you pleasure, sir. Did you meet with the lady?"

*sits before him, smiling back* I did; her company is ever fair, and yet more radiance attends the maid with every time she smiles through her veil.

"I will have to be sure and ask Mr. Ganymede for the honor of her acquaintance, then. And it will be an occasion for spending more time with the gentleman himself, to which I would certainly not protest."
