I am so sick of the LJ layouts sponsored by the site, and I would really, really like a new style! I want something old-fashioned, perhaps reminiscent of Austen or 19th-century art...something elegant and pretty. I've been looking at some layout communities, but I haven't found what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions???

It is a really warm day today! I know lots of people love it this warm - I believe it's in the 80s - but I'm sweltering! It's stuffy in the apartment, even with all my windows wide open and a fan going. I would like at least the option of turning on my air conditioning, but apparently it's not on in the building yet! Gah, so frustrating!

I have this shooting pain radiating along the right side of my head. It's been happening sporadically for the past day or two. It doesn't seem like a good thing.

Let's talk about the fact that I didn't start my legal writing project until today when it's due tomorrow at 10 a.m. And how I've known about this all semester. And how it's worth 20% of my grade. And how tomorrow I have to be up by 6:30 because I'm flying to Michigan to visit my brother.

It's a really tough time of year to be single. Not only is Valentine's Day nearly upon us (and what a terrible commercialized catastrophe that is), but the Barristers' Ball is in two weeks. Oh gosh. I just spent most of the afternoon and evening watching episodes of "My So-Called Life" on YouTube. Great show. One of life's enduring tragedies is that they only made one season. Plus, I downloaded a couple songs from iTunes...the '90s was a pretty good time for music, looking back on it. Before, you know, Britney Spears ruined it all.
