So, I know I can't dance (I mean, really, I'm 9 months pregnant), but I am so excited about the fact that they're starting up céilís again!! Please note, it really doesn't matter if you've never danced at a céilí before - they will gladly teach you. This is forwarded from my Conradh email group:Greetings dancers

I'm REALLY excited about this! It's just not practical for me to drive to Frisco for a ceili, so I'm glad they're starting back up closer to home. Maybe I can go now!

I wish I could go this Saturday, but Traci's bellydance performance is that night, so I'll be there. If they make this an ongoing thing, though, I'll definately be making a point to come out to other ceilis!

Looks like it's going to be kind of once a month. I found these dates for the ArtCentre of Plano: September 27, October 11, November 22* (* Special 3-hour party ceili, 7:00-10:00pm!), January 10, February 7, April 4, and May 16.

Well, it looks like I won't be able to come until Nov since I'll be at TRF for opening weekend on Oct 11, but I'll definately be there with bells on in Nov. Maybe I can convince some of the Grogg Troll folk to come along since we'll be spending Thanksgiving at TRF the following weekend.

I probably won't make it til November either. At least for dancing, heh. This whole being pregnant thing makes dancing pretty much a no-can-do. But November, I should be able to dance!

Wow, that sounds like fun! So long as they don't mind beginners I'd love to go. Do you know if this will be weekly or just a one time event?
