Today my work day was awesome. First there was this event called "Passport to the World." It was just upstairs from my office and there was all kinds of interesting foods and beverages from places like India, Turkey, Pakistan, Mexico (of course), Bangladesh, China, Egypt, and Nigeria. It's not on their site yet, but I started getting antsy about it so I called. It's on December 8 and 9 this year (I didn't ask the time. Whoops) and will be $10 per adult. This lecture should be a lot of fun! We'll be looking at a LOT of actual clothing from 1850 through 1900, and from what I've been told they're in excellent condition.
