It's a new Routine

I've decided to keep track of a new diet I'm trying.  I signed up for Noom.  The reason I decided to give it a try is because the science behind the method is cognitive behavioral therapy.  I know this science to be beneficial through the work I do as a counselor.  I thought, this might help me.  I know I changed a lot of behaviors after going ( Read more... )

I hope your marriage is going swimmingly. I thought I'd comment because I studied cognitive behavioural therapy in college, and continue to use it in my thought. So, this is an important thing we share. I am glad you are using it in your practice.

We are doing well, thank you for asking. I checked out the journal that you mentioned in your comment. I think it could be helpful. I want to keep a log of how things are doing with my diet and exercise plan. I am not loosing weight but I don't think I'm gaining either. It's a long road now that I'm older. When I was in my twenties, it didn't take too much activity. I miss that part of being younger.
