Since when did "sins" come into the picture? The questoin is if you have to choose between trying to protect someone else at your expense, or protect yourself and risk hurting them, who gets put on the line?
i believe the answer is Monkeys so long as your true to monkeys your fine umm yea don't mind me
being human is not easy i say helmets for all be happy as you others will agree or they wouldn't but who needs their option just be yourself and you be fine well hope I made more sense then i think i made
I'd have to say both. Because as Human's we do both. We manipulate, whether on a large or small scale to get what we want. And there are times when we just give up and lose things/people/etc and are left with the stabbing pain of that loss.
On one side we grow stronger from overcoming the pain from loss; and on the other we become more likely to survive when we learn the tools of the trade that allow us to live in the world we know. We need to have both and use both of these tools in order to survive in the world. Both make us human. Even as babies we will discover how to manipulate our parents to get a desired effect...in a sense the manipulative tendencies stem from the pain of loss and disappointment. It starts out when we are born and it grows with us as we go through life.
there is no such thing as being completely morally bankrupt, even someone with low or amazingly degrading morals...does indeed have morals, just not those that fit to a social norm or average. Hence we're human...dealing with the pain is a fact of life...some can deal more easily than others...others avoid it and or hide it by trying to deal with others pain and adverting attention away from themselves. But piete is right, you just have to be yourself and respect and love yourself for the amazing and truly gifted and unique individual that you are...anything who either can't see that, or doesn't accept you for that is a cock who needs a metal pipe to the back of the knee. Also I resent the whole flogging comment...that was not cool...I'm sorry thats just something I'm mildly into. SO the answer is...regardless of how bankrupt you may try to be and how much you may manipulate...you'll only go so far and we're all human and have morals, thus we all have to deal with some pain, shame, hurt etc... the question then is not whether its
( ... )
I'd like to say it'd be better to be human and deal with it, but that's just not realistic. I've found out recently that no matter how hard you try, it's pretty likely that sooner or later, you'll give in/sell out/betray your morals to satisfy your needs.

On the one hand being manipulative hurts people, and therefore must be a "sin."
On the other hand, if you're not happy, you're hurting yourself, which constitutes hurting people, which is a "sin."
Either way you're flogged.
