i found these picts of the asylum that used to be in nevada...it was built in mid to late 1800's, they closed the main part down in 1991...
part of it (the buildings you can't see in these pics) is still in use...they've been taring it down building by building since 1999...this is just a front shot of the first building, there are more building ( Read more... )

so, i just got through making some shish kabobs and now they are on the grill,,,i cut up some habeneros and now my fingertips faintly burn...

it appears that i will stick around and teach again in the fall while i finish up my masters, even though my graduate teacher thing will be over (i talked to the powers that be and they are letting me teach ( Read more... )
