i found these picts of the asylum that used to be in nevada...it was built in mid to late 1800's, they closed the main part down in 1991...
part of it (the buildings you can't see in these pics) is still in use...they've been taring it down building by building since 1999...this is just a front shot of the first building, there are more building

some asylum history websites...but i found an original postcard on ebay with pretty much the same pic on it so i bought it...

hey my dad used to work there too and Dan and Leslie Keller used to take me to that carnival thing too! I forgot about it. My dad said that the crazies would sneak down into the tunnels to have sex. Here's a website with some more pictures.
