weddings are hard on friendly introverts like myself.  especially when slightly sick and/or going through the longest jetlag recovery period ever.

so yay to partnering into a great family, but only for some of the hours of the day?

Note to self: grief and scotch don't work nearly as well together as the tv shows claim.

today i took a day off.  i think the last time i did that was.  um.  march?  the last time i took a weekend was.  um.  october?

it took me a good 10 minutes tonight to realize that the best way to solve the fact that my feet were feeling cold was to put on some socks.

in other words, i think i *needed* this day off.

oh dear.

tomorrow is spirit day, in which people across the USA will wear purple to mourn the suicides of gay youths.

i am not in the states.

and i own no purple. not in either wardrobe, on either side of the atlantic.

if you feel at all sympathetic to this rally, please wear purple to stand in for me???
