Today I'm arguing my first motion in Supreme Court (not THE Supreme Court). I'm nervous as all heck. My boss filed an OSC and requested it be returnable on Monday because she's out of town this week. It can't seriously be Monday morning already, can it?

I'm not looking forward to this week at all, but I'm determined to not let it get the best of me. I'm also determined to put in for some vacation time for May 4th and May 7th the second I get back to the office after covering Jane's case.

This week was total hell. I don't even want to get into it, but let's just say that every morning after waking up, I debated whether or not I should call in sick and give myself a much needed mental health day. I've opted out of American Idol this season because, after last year, I just can't deal with it anymore. Maybe I get angry too easily, but I've reached my tolerance level for seeing talented people get the boot because the viewing public thinks it's more fun to push through the suckage in order to try and bring the show down. I know this show is an hour of total crap with no redeeming qualities whatsoever, but that doesn't stop me from watching it, even if it's beyond painful to do it.
