By the time I got home yesterday I was so freaking tired and sore! Having to stand more or less in one spot will get to me more than doing laps around that huge warehouse of store will any day. Generally by this time of the year I'm getting a little tired of dealing with my balcony garden. That's probably why, even though I plan to rotate in some fall crops/flowers in spring, I don't generally follow through. This year, not so much. i haven't posted a lot about my container garden this year because I'm a little ambivalent about it. My poor plants alternate between gasping for water and begging for a snorkel. Off and on it has been raining for the last couple of weeks. I mean rain like I expect to see a huge boat with a large assortment of animals float by any minute. So it's just past midnight and my vacation ends in a little less than 24 hours. For the last 10 days my days and nights have flipped back around completely to take advantage of the great weather. So here it is, nearly noon in the middle of July. The apartment has been opened up since early yesterday evening. I've had to put on a heavier t-shirt and socks to be comfortable.
