LOVED that, coz yes - I think that's probably where he is right now. Charlie's opinion means the most and while he didn't ask for the responsibility of looking out for his brother's family it's not something he'd walk away from (now) unless it was Charlie who told him he wasn't needed.
Now, *clears throat* fav lines:"Are you having a stroke ( ... )

Yeah, that's exactly how I see it. I thought I'd start when they woke up, but Miles needed time to brood and set up the situation and dynamics.
because of too many reasons like wit and laughter? Specifically, Miles dissing swords and fairies when he's all SWORDSMASTER all the time. LoveLoveLoved Charlie being overly stamped after a 5 min meeting and Danny's freakout. And also the general ignore Danny, he's unimportant to the situation rule everyone's following XD So glad you liked those lines, I had a lot of fun writing them! I swear half of this fic was ( ... )

'How does he keep getting out.'
'I don't know! How does he keep finding the damn marker,' Jeremy mutters, spitting on his thumb and rubbing his 'horns'. 'It's not like we can chain him up.'
This was really funny, and poor Bass. All his best laid plans laid to waste due to an obsession with putting an M on it. :D

ROTFL! Oh my God, that's perfect! It didn't even cross my mind the shenanigans he gets up to with the Militia, or what happens when he has no Mathesons to mark. I bet there was a stupid recruit who one night tried to stop him and suffered the consequences. They never speak of that incident, it's too horrible.
LOL at him drawing horns on Jeremy. I bet Bass was also a Supernatural fan.Now I've also got this image in my head of the two of them waking up one night to see Bass sleepwalking and trying to use him as a bloodhound to find the Mathesons ( ... )

...and then whatever the hell the boys do to him (reflectors? string? yarn? rope? bright feathers? a bell so they can find him in the dark?), the next time he rocks up to the Matheson camp no one's asleep (except Aaron) and they all have a really difficult time taking the danger seriously (even Rachel) and someone has to gag Danny so he doesn't spoil it.
...then there's Bass waking up later and finding some relic of the night before (maybe Charlie and Miles drew on him back?) and going WTF guys. Coz he has no idea he sleepwalks - it's like the worst kept secret in the Militia so Jeremy and Tom have to make something up...involving rebels and spiked drinks.
"He's paranoid right?" Jeremy shrugged as Monroe stomped away. "He believes us."
Tom didn't spare him a glance. "So you think this is helping?"More than us getting arrested for tying a bell to our fearless leader so we could follow him on his nightly jaunt into the forest..only to lose him when one of us couldn't keep up ( ... )
