Police: Man lets boy drive for a 'bonding moment'

BRADENTON, Fla. - Police in southwest Florida arrested a man they say let his 8-year-old son drive a van. Police in Bradenton arrested 34-year-old Mark A. Belanger just before midnight Sunday on charges of child abuse and permitting an unlicensed driver to drive.

The photo of the koala drinking from the bottle of water just about kills me.

Doctors and nurses in the ER have portable phones that they are supposed to carry.  Often, I will see a doctor or nurse griping that they never got their phone and they can't find it.  I will then punch the phone number of the phone they are supposed to be carrying into my land line and, 9 times out of 10, will hear it ringing.  Problem solved.  I ( Read more... )
