Due to wonderful museum software that, unfortunately, only works on Windows, I've had to add to the computer inventory and a computing machine running Vista has been added to the household. Having not had to think about .dll files at home for nearly 5 years, it's a bit disconcerting to have to edit half a dozen of them just to update Vista on a ( Read more... ) -
Times passes
It seems like a comment every couple of years isn't too taxing. My glorious chapeau still fits nicely (although I've taken to lining it with tin foil) and, as you can tell, blowing bubbles in my soda is still my favorite past time. Barney
I found Barney 11 years and 9 months ago. He was about 1 at that time. He was in the parking lot of the school where I was interviewing. I found out he was a stray before the interview and throughout the entire thing, the only thing I could think of was, "Should I take that dog home?" even when they were showing me the room where I'd be ( Read more... ) -
Fund Raiser
Another fund raiser coming up. There is a point in the year - Nov/Dec - when we are working on three at once, but now we are at two. The next is Valentine's - when volunteers swoop down and put together gift bags which we then deliver throughout the county spreading chocolate, champagne and museum pr throughout the land. Palominos and Painting
I finally got some color on the wall of the den - it's called Beeswax. It's going to take two coats to cover and rather than looking like sedate natural candle wax for a sedate, calming den/sewing/tv/reading room - it's the color of Trigger.
