Palominos and Painting
I finally got some color on the wall of the den - it's called Beeswax. It's going to take two coats to cover and rather than looking like sedate natural candle wax for a sedate, calming den/sewing/tv/reading room - it's the color of Trigger. Since my earliest conviction in life was the certainty that I was going to marry Roy Rogers this is not necessarily a bad thing. However, when we were kids it was my cousin Karen who rode an imaginary Trigger around the ranch while I loped along on an imaginary Fury. I don't plan to paint the den black with a white star on its forehead or acquire a wiry ranch hand named Pete, an orphan named Joey, a li'l buddy called Packy or Jim Phelps so I guess I'll settle for the palomino colored walls.
