This is... probably going to become an out-of-game post in the next couple of weeks. But it's in my head now, and so.
Prompt for April 06:
This is a map to where I live.
It's on the small side, as flats go, but that's got more to do with the structure of the building than the quality of the flat; otherwise, it wouldn't even have made it past the first cut. Besides, wizarding flats tend to go one person to a floor, the better to give every tenant his own Floo access point.
It's not as though Regulus would need copious amounts of space on a consistent basis anyway; if special circumstances should arise, there are charms for that sort of thing. The extant accommodations would serve nicely for everything he's expecting to bring from home and then some. There's even a good space on the mantel for a portrait.
The building this one-bedroom affair is in is close enough to Peter's neighborhood that visiting - not to mention revolutionary business - will be within the realm of possibility. It's fairly centrally located for a few other matters as well, but those are less of a bother than the secrecy matters surrounding Apparating into a Muggle neighborhood. (Fixing said secrecy matters may well be one of Peter's crusades in this revolution, but it'll be some time yet before they have even a hope of managing it.)
It wouldn't do to commit to anything before he's seen all his options, so Regulus tells the landlord he's strongly considering the flat, and thanks him for the advance look. He's fairly certain this will be it, in the end, but he'd rather make certain. And if it is, he has no fears about it going to someone else in the meanwhile. He's not afraid to use his last name as currency, if it's advantageous, and he restricted his search to neighborhoods where the prospect of a Black moving in would keep a flat open until the end of time.
