"Are they here yet?" She asked for the millionth time, obviously in deep with a case of ants in her pants. "How about now?"
"We're here!" Came the voice of her partner in crime big sister; finally, Molly received the answer she had wanted since she first arrived.
And with that, Molly all but chimed: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

"Lynx!" Molly scolded, knitting her brows together as she frowned at the cat. Lynx, ever defiant, simply craned his neck smoothly, looking up at the displeased young girl, and with only a meow -- as if saying how do you like me now? -- he hopped down to the ground to attack his party hat.
Molly allowed herself an eye roll before turning her attention back to Sylar; her face immediately lit up. "Your birthday, that's what! I've been waiting one hundred years for this party -- you can ask Claire, too!" Molly bobbed her head, causing her party hat to droop ( ... )

Lights were out by the pool, ready to be lit, as well as the candle things that kept mosquitoes away, and he had bought a grill that had him near bouncing in glee with all it could do. Cooking might escape him, and baking be his downfall, but he could grill like a pro, dammit, and hadn't gotten to in decades.
Now they just needed the rest to arrive and they were good to go for a christening of the new place with their family for a special occasion, and he was smiling more than he had in a long time.

"You're making me tired," she pouted at Adam teasingly, fishing a cherry from the bottom of her glass with her straw. "All of the flitting is making me tired. And feel like a lazy schlub. Dude, does that thing have a rotisserie? Seriously?"

As soon as she stepped outside and noticed the others, she beamed while holding her arms above her head. "I have succeeded." Her eyes twinkled with humor before she stepped to the side and made a sweeping motion towards Sylar as though she were presenting him.
"Ta-da! The Birthday Boy!" Then she did a dramatic whisper. "Don't mind him, he's a little stunned at the moment. Talk slowly." She quickly stepped out of reach.

Sylar's gift proved a bit of a problem, until he found a backpack he could carry it in. Once that was settled, he slipped on a windbreaker and sunglasses and headed out.
Finding the place wasn't hard, he'd seen pictures, after all, and it was distinctive from the air. He landed on the front path. A few steps had him at the door. He rang the bell, turning and gazing out at the yard, hands in his pockets, while he waited for an answer.

Pulling open the door, she found Nathan standing there and she smiled a little since she was pleased he had shown up. "Hey, come in." She stepped back, motioning for him to enter.

He could tell they were all gathering around the grill and pool, so once he was close enough he let himself become visible again, and landed in an open area. "Sorry I'm late!"
