• Got my Remix assignment! I can work with it, though for me, at least, it's always harder to remix the work of a good writer. With a not-so-good writer it's easier to see the hook, the part that sticks out as something I would have done differently. But I admit it's always kind of fun to remix a friend's stories. What I just finished: After abandoning both The Turn of the Story and Three Parts Dead, I dove into The Likeness, by Tana French, the second of the Dublin Murder Squad books, and enjoyed it a lot - much better than the first in the series. Reading: I just finished the first two books of another Maggie Stiefvater series, Lament and Ballad.
