Stargate Atlantis: Um. He who lives by the slash, dies by the slash. By which I mean to say, I started watching the show because I fell in love with the fanfiction, and I loved the show because I loved the characters

I hadn't known what your tense implies about Elizabeth. (I don't follow the show too closely anymore, mostly I just watch it if it's on and I'm around.) If they did do what I think your spoiler is implying, I'm surprised and sad -- I liked her a lot, too. I saw the first(?) ep of this season, where she was hurt and they turned the... nanoites? (spelling? right name?) things inside her on, but apparently your spoiler came from the next ep and I haven't seen that yet. (I don't care at all about spoilers. I'll see the ep eventually and watch it with my usual quarter-attention.)

How's that for a vague comment!

Yeah, well, it's been kind of hard to miss the casting spoilers floating around all summer. Amanda Tapping in and Torri Higginson out, Paul McGillion out (from last year) and Jewel Staite in. I still kind of miss Bates and Kavanagh. I think I like my cast changes slower and more subtle. Even with the ensemble feel, I don't like losing major characters and expecting to care about new ones.

(Elizabeth is a hero in 4x02, and doesn't necessarily die, but because on the meta level I know she's been written out of the series it's the same thing.)

Anyway, there are still Wraith, but they don't seem to show up very often. The Atlantis people are too busy battling other enemies and themselves. I want more Wraith.

Oh phew. I thought the wraith had been killed off or something. So we can still write them! *wipes brow and peers at still-unfinished-wraith-love-fic that's been in the making for 1 1/2 years...*

I fell in love with SGA fanfiction because of you (and you recs). I understand why you are leaving fandom (it is same with me and HP), but still... it makes me little sad. I only hope, you will find something new and fabulous, because I really can`t find my way into dS.

Aw, I am still happy I brought someone into the fandom, even if I'm not hanging around. And I will never say never! I might fall back into SGA! I don't know. But I am certainly on the lookout for something new and fabulous, so maybe our paths shall cross again!
