When I went to Buddy Dog on Sunday I spent most of the afternoon with Tugboat, an 11-month-old deaf pit bull. He's a mush! He doesn't know that there's something wrong with him; mainly that he can't hear when you tell him "Off!" when he tries to snuggle into your skin with you. What is family?
It makes me a little uncomfortable that my cousin keep growing up into an increasingly handsome young man. Sometimes I think it's ok because we're not actually related, but then I remember that blood's got nothing on 22 years.
