Great day to be at the park. No one is here. Just us and the fog. The stone tower gateway looks awesome in the fog. Thought I'd post a little update before I head on down to the "Crazy" Cravens' House. Hopefully this rain keeps the crowd down to a reasonable size. Work goes by in lightspeed...I'm sure of it. Even in the most boring of times, the day never seems long enough. Got better acquainted with the Cravens House. Being at house where you give tours almost nonstop for over four hours is kind of stupefying. I think I went in a trance there for a while. Automatonic for sure. We have successfuly put down a deposit for housing this fall. A three bedroom townhome in the lovely community of Mountain Creek apartments. It's huge and it has STAIRS!! There is a huge living room and den area and a nice size dining room area. We've already decided to give Jessica the master bedroom so she can put all of her clothes up in her ( Read more... ) -

I'm an employee for the federal government, now. Since Tuesday, I've been working from 8-5 as a park guide on Lookout Mountain. Got myself a nifty badge (no uniform mind you) and a number of special keys. Uniforms will be interesting. From what I've gathered, I'll get nifty boots and a nifty smokey the bear hat.
