Now, I wasn't sure what constituted a visit. I have been in a car from Ok and Tx to Florida, and therefore have been through and possibly stayed at those states on the gulf. Didn't include them b/c I don't remember any specific places. I've driven through Wv and Va, on a charter, but the only stops we made were for directions. Also was in a car from Ok to Washington, which obviously involves a lot of states and a mountain range!! I just remember the tail end of that trip when we swung by Indiana, where I caught my first fish, and Ohio for a reunion. On the way home we saw the Great Arch at St. Louis. It has (or maybe had)a McDonalds at the top. Even to my six year old brain that was creepy.

Sorry for that bit of nostalgia. Side effect of 13 hours of sleep! Lots of time to dream and see or hear about people I haven't seen in ages.

Thought I'd take a nap when I got home around five yesterday, at least until Tangee got home. Staying awake with some type of stimulation would have been possible, but I came home to the Sci Fi channel blaring and napping seemed like a more exciting alternative. On the way home, I thought I'd have to kidnap some guy off the street and force him to rub my back all night long or just hold me. When thoughts like that enter my head, I should have known I wasn't long for the conscious world. Woke up the first time around 6:40...the next morning. Later as I basked in that twilight sleeping state, Tangee came to check if I was still alive. I'm glad I was; finding your friend dead in her bed for who knows how long could be a bit traumatic.

So I slept over half a day, and it was the sleep of the dead. I'm sure that I didn't move an inch since I laid down. Same fetal position and cacoon blanket covering. It was wonderful. The chocolate cookies before the nap were comforting and my vellux blanket cacoon felt like heaven...so soft and warm.

After a bit at Sachsman's, I think I just might return to that cozy cacoon. Even if just to stare at the wall and think.
