I like the recursive nature of this piece, how you brought the cookies back to make the reader come full-circle and understand what's going on. Very nicely worded, too. Good job.

I don't really know what I can say that they haven't already, but...

I love the repetition of short sentences and fragments to bring the feelings home. That's the single most powerful part of this story, to me.

I love the eloquence of your language, it's very beautiful. The little things like the sticky notes on mirrors make your story very realistic, and very endearing. Thank you for a great read!
