Just when you thought I had an Oystercard...

Just to follow up.

I sent a letter to the oyster people claiming £64.60 back for tickets. This letter was dated 15th August, but due to my incompetence, it didn't get sent until the 22nd or so. First class.

I then received two letters dated 24th August. One with a cheque for £5.40 to cover the pay-as-you-go balance, another with £10 as a 'gesture of good will.'

Each letter is signed by a different person, and both have "Please contact me again if you need any help in the future." on them.

But of course they only have the fake oystercard number (the automated one) and the website on it (which is broken). So I phoned the number this morning, having given them time to give me £60. I spoke to a lady who said the woman who sent me the £10 is going to phone me back.

Woe. Angst. Bloody Oystercards
