The time at home was actually good. As usual, though, the transition back to my "real" life was weird, difficult, and involved me running to Beth's to knock back a few afternoon beers so I wouldn't rain on the Faerie fellas' or Joe's one day off.
Sheesh ... I'm glad it's over again!
My grand-dad? Yeah, he absolutely rocks and I feel pretty spiritually and psychologically puny next to him. He looks the spitting image of Gregory Peck -- as a southern farmer/factory worker/preacher -- so I've always thought of him as Atticus from "To Kill a Mockingbird".
