~sigh, I've got to worry about all those scratches though... That's going to be a serious pain in the ass.

I'm using amaroK 1.2 -- I tried to upgrade to 1.3 a while back, but it involves a lot of package updates... And I believe that one of them had a conflict that I didn't taken the time to investigate.

yeah, 1.3 is kinda minimum if you even want stable ipod support, and i would really recommend trying to get with the SVN releases. if you want, i can give you a known good set.

Sweet! I'd love to try it out, but I'm not so sure I can easily upgrade... The upgrade from amarok 1.2 to 1.3 had a hell of a lot of dependencies to work out... A bit too many for me to manage actually... But, I'll give the SVN release a shot.

yeah! I still can't believe that I actually own an iPod now... It's like the king of all mp3 players... I mean, it totally defines the market! I've even seen sites that will list their mp3 category as: "MP3 Players and iPods" like the iPod is too good to be "just an mp3 player" or something. I'm so glad my parents got it for me -- w00t!
