yeah! I still can't believe that I actually own an iPod now... It's like the king of all mp3 players... I mean, it totally defines the market! I've even seen sites that will list their mp3 category as: "MP3 Players and iPods" like the iPod is too good to be "just an mp3 player" or something. I'm so glad my parents got it for me -- w00t!

you'll have to provide them with some "motivation" -- perhaps, you could hold something of theirs hostage! "Give me an iPod for christmas, or you'll never see the VCR remote control again!"
