Seeking Adult Characters World-Wide

Before you consider applying for this game, please at least skim the following topics so you are familiar with game history and have a sense of whether this is a game for you.

Starting game plot and key events to the present.

Backstory plot that lays the foundation for in-game events.

Hogwarts reorganisation under Headmistress Minerva McGonagall.

Wizarding government and politics.

About the Ministry Tracking Devices and Registry.

Game calendar of upcoming events.

Fiery Inception and Deathly Hollows.

We are a large game that has been in-play for two years. This naturally means that Muns have come and gone as interest waxes and wanes. We are eager and willing to help new players get settled in, but having an understanding of the starting foundation of the game is particularly helpful for everyone.

Fiery Inception is a game which focuses more on politics, intrigue, and the general day-to-day challenges of rebuilding after a large war, rather than death and mayhem (though that exists as well!) We allow no actual 'Hogwarts students' at the game, as we focus on the world beyond Hogwarts.

Magical World Politics are an important part of our game, and a wide variety of politicians, politician-wannabes, and general smarmy lackeys would be a fun and fabulous addition to the game.

Rudiger Shingleton, in a desperate attempt to revive his popularity and therefore keep his post, is just in the very, very early planning stages of attempting another TriWizard Tournament to be hosted at Hogwarts.

This opens a vast array of positions necessary for the planning and arrangements, including international wizards, security personnel, 'idea-people' to devise the actual tasks, etc. Madame Maxime is still Headmistress of Beaubatons, but we do not know who is Head of Durmstrang.

Ludo Bagman, is dead, so he is obviously no longer head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports, but this would be a pivotal Ministry position during the planning stages of the tournament - an OC or a canon character would be fun to have in this job.

The Registry Tracking Devices continue to create a sense of separation and injustice in those who wear them, almost crying out for the Wizarding Equivalent of the ACLU barristers to come champion the cause.

Journalists abound, yet there is a constant turn-over of writers. Witch Weekly is always in need of fresh gossip, and Rita Skeeter has not been seen or heard from in quite some time. Surely her poison pen cannot be silenced forever!

If the career exists in the Muggle world, there is some equivalent in the Magical one. See our current in-game careers list as you think about yours. Be creative and come join one of the few serious, canon-honouring games which actively recruits for original adult characters!

If you are a dedicated, committed, pro-active, long-term player, you can find your niche with us.
