Rough Day
Today has been rough. Actually if I am being honest with everyone, it has been a really rough week. I am pretty much spending all day in bed. My feet, legs, and hands have been hurting so bad. I am Trying to Learn
How to navigate LJ with my tablet. I think I have it figured out now. It is a lot slower going, but at least I can do it. Hopefully now I can keep up with everyone's posts now. :)

My Birthday Surprise
Both of my parents have managed to humble me on my birthday. My mother is my angel. She takes care of my kids and husband when I cannot. I know at her age she would rather be doing what people do when they are retired. Instead she is at the beck and call of my girls. I got taken to lunch today for an early birthday treat. I got a really cool purse and wallet from my sister which is cool and my brother in law gave me his old lap top!! I Have Nothing Witty to Say
I am not sure if I am more angry or depressed. My feet are starting to hurt more and more. The medicine has made me well enough so that it is combating the fatigue that comes with lupus. Now all I do is go from thing to thing trying to mask the pain. Before I was put back on the leflunomide it wasn't so bad because at least I could take a nap ( Read more... ) -
Long Time No Update
Yes, it has been a really long time since I have updated my journal. I am still having a lot of difficulty walking, but it has gotten somewhat better. I decided to stop taking Benlysta because it was not helping me and was causing nausea worse then I have normally. I have lost 30 pounds in about three months. Hair Loss and Lupus
I just saw another lady on a lupus group who took pics of hair loss and bald spots. It is amazing what will trigger me and make me cry. I am no longer worried about losing hair. My hair was down to my waist and I remember the tears as handfuls of it would fall out. The best thing I ever did for myself was cut my hair off. I don't notice how much I ( Read more... ) -
Wow! An actual update!!
I have not updated in a while because it hurt too much to sit at my desk and be on the computer. I have been spending about 10 minutes on the computer at a time. My muse has decided to vacate the premises so painting and drawing have not been filling up my time.
