My Birthday Surprise

Both of my parents have managed to humble me on my birthday. My mother is my angel. She takes care of my kids and husband when I cannot. I know at her age she would rather be doing what people do when they are retired. Instead she is at the beck and call of my girls. I don't have to stress about their needs because she is always there. I could not go through this without my mom. She is my rock and my angel. I am able to hold my head up through all the sickness and pain because she is walking beside me holding my hand. I know when people come over that my house will be clean because she has done it. My mother is amazing and I know I did something right on the other side when I picked her. I hold my head up because my mom is the angel beneath my wings.

My dad just called me to wish me a happy birthday. He told me that I would be getting a Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 tomorrow. Now I will never be bored and I don't have to be laying in bed all day being filled with what is on TV. I can actually have everything I need at my fingertips. I was floored. I have never asked my dad for anything. I figure with three boys that he had enough to deal with. Now I can listen to the LAPD on a police scanner on it and remember all the wonderful times that my dad and I shared together in a police car.

I expected this to be another birthday that passed quietly. My parents have made it very special. Thank you Mom and Dad!
