Whatever. Will was going with it, because it was too fun not to. He'd got Magnus out in the snow and lasted about five minutes before shoving a handful

Helen was on her stomach, half reading the bloody horrible romance novel she'd gotten from the shelf and half glancing over at Will so she could just study him. Today had been nice, even if she could have done without the cold, it was nice to see Will in a different light than protege and friend edging into something unknown and just a touch awkward.

"Will, have you ever...Christ, this sentence. I don't even know if I can say this with a straight face."

She looked over at him, eyes sparkling and smirk playing at her lips.

"He's danced along the petals of her womanhood with his tongue, allegedly. Do men normally have tap-dancing tongues?"

Will snorted a little, laughing. "That kinda sounds uncomfortable," he said, leaning over to peer at whatever godawful thing Magnus was reading. "I mean, someone doing a little shuffle-ball-change on your... you know. No thanks."

"No? Suppose you ought to write them and complain then," Helen said airily, turning the page. At least he seemed to be playing into her teasing this time around and that made her more comfortable than usual.

"I've personally never used that technique. I find figure eights suffice."

It took a second for what she'd said to actually sink in, and when it did, Will coughed a little and dropped his book, losing his place in it. "Um... I see," he said, picking up his book again and pretending to read. "That works for you, huh?" That didn't quite come out as nonchalantly as he wanted it to, unfortunately.
