baby, it's cold outside [TR for Magnus]
Will had seen a lot of freaky things in his time at the Sanctuary, but this whole tropical island covered in snow and turned into something out of the Grinch movie was a whole new level of weird. Whatever. Will was going with it, because it was too fun not to. He'd got Magnus out in the snow and lasted about five minutes before shoving a handful down the back of her jacket, making her squeal and chase after him, and that had quickly degenerated into an out and out snowball fight--no, screw that, it was a snowball war. It was pretty hard to tell who won in the end, since they were both collapsing with laughter, soaked and cold, but Will was pretty sure he won since Magnus was smiling so big she couldn't hide the dimple in her left cheek.
After that they'd changed and had dinner at the compound and eventually it was about the time where Magnus should think about going home, except that Will came up with some excuse that he was pretty sure sounded like total bullshit, something that went a little like God, it's really coming down out there, and windy too, you shouldn't walk home in that--stay here?--which was pretty stupid since Will knew Magnus had been in conditions a lot tougher than some snow flurries. He'd made her some tea to go along with the bullshit, so he guessed it was kind of easy for her to agree, and that was how they ended up in Will's room with tea and blankets, kind of reading books and kind of ignoring the fact that what they were really doing was cuddling. Snuggling if you want to get technical, but Will was afraid to put too specific a name on it. He was just glad she'd agreed to stay.
