Ack! Sleep! Sleep!
Sorry it's so late in the day, I finished it late this evening, then went nuts with beta readers. ^^;;

Hmm... technically Aoko doesn't actually know, it's more of a suspicion. Kid -could- brush it off and pretend everything's normal.
Or Hakuba could be grabbing Kid from jumping from yet another building, this time with a shorter drop. #^^#

We're still waiting to find out as well...

Okay...was reading along on that, figuring I'd finish it before I went to bed. Was loving every minute of it--particularly Aoko's little chat with Kaitou Kid...and then you throw that curve-ball of an ending? *flails as much as tiredness will allow for*

I love you, you know that? In the totally not-creepy way, of course. Even though you are Evil ~♥♥♥ I can't wait to see what happens next with this! :D

Thank you for for the Hakuba meets Snake scene. Glad you went with the wrath of the Furies to keep Hakuba from becoming a murderer. That was awesome. Also full of awesomeness: Kaito jealous of Hakuba's wings.

Damn, Snake's dead. I really hope they don't send Gin after him next.

So, are you building up to another love triangle? Personally I like Hakuba/Kaito more, but you've left room for a threesome here. Plus it was *Hakuba's* idea to grab Aoko and bring her along, not Kaito's. Thought it was an odd move at the time, but I think there was a part of Hakuba that decided Kaito wouldn't want to leave her and she could be trusted with their secrets. And Aoko did seem kind of interested in watching them. Heck of a cliff-hanger.

I love this story so much. Thank you for updating.

The Furies thing has been planned for a while, we really need to finish inking the art to post it. But yeah, no killing for Hakuba.

Hmm... Don't think they're sending Gin in, possibly Rose though.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what the pairing is going to end up being. At this point, it could go any direction, including no pairing at all. I won't know until the story tells me. *pokes plunnies*

-We actually started writing a similar scenario, but it didn't quite work. New plans are being laid.

... And this ends on a classic "Oh Shit" moment. Honestly, even if he somehow manages to slither out of this one, *sorry, Hakuba-kun,* sooner or later, Aoko is going to get hit with the sheer WEIGHT of circumstantial evidence around Kid being Kaito... She's not stupid. IMO, she simply shares her father's tendency to be willfully blind to things she doesn't want to see.

Yeah, Aoko is far from stupid, she was putting together clues during their conversation. And it's really not going to take that far of a leap to get to someone she thought died in an accident about the time the Kid first disappeared.

Think it'll just be interesting to see how well she takes it, now that she has talked to Kid as a person, rather than some sort of faceless icon.

I'm totally loving this little series, though. And Hakuba the Fury is just so *fitting*! Hee! And Hakuba's little "I'm not one of those tentacle monsters!" just about *killed* me, I was laughing so hard... Ohhh man. And poor Kaito, with his Aoko taking potshots at him like that. Oof. Those really had to hurt him... *flails* I can't wait for more of this!

Best part is that Aoko Hasn't A CLUE that she's taking potshots at him.

The 'I'm not that kind of tentacle monster' beat out Tentacle!Hakuba stripping Kid in Aoko's bedroom' as far as pure crack, IMHO.

Hadta leave it there because Ysabet gave me the plunnie and that's where it ended. >P Blame her.
